Setup

This tent is huge. The setup time for something this big is almost unreal. It can be done in only 60 seconds!

The poles are already setup for you when you unpack the tent. All you have to do is extend them and the tent will go straight up.

This is a really good feature since it allows you to set up really quickly and gives you the opportunity to enjoy your trip as soon as possible.

Ventilation

For such a huge tent, good ventilation is a must. And the CORE 9 Person Instant Cabin Tent handles that very well. This tent doesn’t come like your other average tent ventilation designs. This tent actually has the capability to take cool air from the ground and spread it throughout the tent. Then, the ceiling helps to move hot air out.

If you are in warmer weather, you can easily take off the rainfly for even more ventilation. Which will make this tent really cool when you need it. Plus, there are several extremely large windows surrounding this tent.

CORE has made sure that you will not have any ventilation problems with this tent. One person even said that the Core 9 Person Instant Tent has an amazing amount of ventilation. He and his family didn’t get hot once during their whole camping trip.

Customer Thoughts

CORE 9 Person Instant Cabin Tent ReviewOne customer has said that this tent was totally worth the purchase. He was able to set it up an disassemble it very quickly without any problems. He enjoyed all of the extra room and lighting around the tent.

Another customer has said that this tent was made very well. He also had an easy time with setup and he was actually surprised that the tent fit back inside the bag (Some other tents don’t).

On the bad side, two customers has said that the joints were weak and could break. They loved everything else about the tent except for the fact that the joints could bend. One other customer has mentioned that there roof seems started to rip. He taped it up and was able to fix the problem.

Pros

  • Size – This tent has enough room for 2 queen sized air mattresses and a family of 9 can comfortably fit inside.
  • Setup – The setup is already done for you and you can finish it up within a maximum of 2 minutes.
  • Ventilation – This tent has superb ventilation within every section to ensure that you have maximum air flow in all the rooms.
  • Privacy – You will have privacy even if you leave the rainfly off. The walls are high enough to cover your body without needing to use a rainfly.

Cons

  • Cold Weather – The ventilation is really good for warm or hot weather. But when it gets cold, it is really hard to stay warm in there. There is too much ventilation to keep the cold air out.
  • Stability – This tent can be unstable if one of the poles break but if the wind isn’t too extreme, you should be fine.

after reading maybe 30 professional reviews of this tent. This is the first that mentions the poles could break.
However I purchased the tent, and we had a terrible storm with really bad winds….the poles never even looked like straining.
I believe the tent is fabulous. Its very well made, you just have to look after it.
Things dont break on their own, and if the tent took the weather we had…I find it difficult i.n blaming the tent poles and materials for issues people have had ….they probably caused themselves
